Position Summary:

RN directs unit performance including: Process improvement initiatives, patient satisfaction (customer service), staff recruitment and retention, performance evaluations, assures compliance with standards, operational issues, conflict resolution, mentors staff. Assesses unit educational needs for the nursing units. Reports to the Director of Emergency Department. The Pre-Hospital RN is a registered nurse responsible in conjunction with the medical director and pre-hospital manager for coordination, education, education and evaluation of Sierra Vista area based pre-hospital providers. This individual is responsible for the smooth functioning of the pre-hospital emergency medical system as it relates to Canyon Vista Medical Center and all connected providers using this facility. Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have an active AZ or Compact RN License.
• Bachelor's in Nursing or Certification in an area of nursing required. MSN preferred.
• 3 years of ED/Trauma experience preferred.
• EMT/Paramedic experience preferred.
• Must obtain ACLS, PALS, HAZMAT and Handle with Care within 90 days of hire.
• Must obtain TNCC within 1 year of hire.
