Registered Nurse (RN)-Ambulatory Care - Ghost Rx : Job Details

*Ghost RX* is looking for a *Registered Nurse *to work at the *Indian Health Service (IHS) in Shiprock, NM.**Requirements:** Ambulatory Care RN* Work hours - 8 ,10 or 12 hour shifts M-F. Need to be flexible* 3 years RN experience, 2 year in ambulatory care.* Must have BLS. Preferred to have ACLS & PALS* *Job Description:** Contractor shall provide full range of outpatient services to patients in the Ambulatory Care Branch.* Contractor shall exercise knowledge of the nursing process and its application to clinical practice in order to provide individualized, goal-oriented nursing care to the adult patient.* Contractor shall exercise knowledge of scientific and psychosocial nursing theory, principles, practices and techniques in order to plan and provide quality nursing care which meets the physical, spiritual, and social-cultural needs of the Indian patient.* Contractor shall exercise knowledge of biological aspects of disease processes and illness in order to recognize complications and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions required.* Contractor shall exercise knowledge of the medications and dosages in order to recognize their desired effects, side-effects, and complications of their use.* Contractor shall analyze the results of various medical procedures and translate them into appropriate nursing interventions.* Contractor shall work effectively and harmoniously within the health care team and with Indian patients and their families.* Inter-Facility Transports.* Follows facility policies and procedures, The Joint Commission (TJC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Indian Health Services (IHS) and other federal licensing, accreditation and regulating body standards.Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $2,471.00 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceExperience:* RN: 3 years (Required)* Ambulatory RN: 2 years (Required)License/Certification:* BLS Certification (Required)* ACLS Certification (Preferred)* PALS Certification (Preferred)Work Location: In person
