Registered Nurse (RN) - Bilingual (Spanish) - Tandym Group : Job Details

A health services network in New York City is currently seeking a Spanish-speaking, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing outpatient facility in Manhattan.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday (1 Saturday per month)
• Hours: 9am to 5pm
• Setting: Outpatient Family Practice

Responsibilities:

• Assessing patients and obtaining health history
• Performing clinical procedures, including injections, phlebotomy, EKG, dipstick urinalysis, finger stick blood tests, PPDs, pregnancy and other health screens, as necessary/ordered by the medical provider
• Assisting in patient care and first aid procedures during a medical emergency\
• Administration of medications and immunizations
• Monitoring vital signs
• Patient teaching and education
• Providing support to medical providers
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• CPR certification
• Infection Control certification
• Knowledge of medical procedures, diagnostic tools and medical office protocols
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
