BrightStar Care is looking for Registered Nurses to join our team!

At BrightStar Care, we provide uplifting care for children, seniors and older adults who require a helping hand, a supportive companion, and day-to-day assistance in various settings.

We are currently looking for nurses to fill 12 hour morning shifts in Darien, IL

Responsibilities:

Implement treatment and plan of care, using sound judgment and critical thinking

Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation consistent with the plan of care and the nursing processes

Perform all skill, treatments, and procedures to the scope of practice as defined in the Nurse Practice Act in the state of clinical practice and adhere to the policies, procedures, and protocols of the agency of employment

Requirements:

Current Illinois RN License in good standing

Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray

Minimum one (1) year of documented health care experience is required

Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile

Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision

Empathy for the needs of the client

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively

Treats clients, staff and the public with courtesy, respect and presents a positive public image.

Works as a team member.

Ensures confidentiality and security of the clients medical information.

Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift to 50 pounds
