This is a temporary position located in Glens Falls, NY.As a Med Surg Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and utilize your clinical expertise to provide excellent care.Key Responsibilities:- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medications, and treatments- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards- Maintain a clean and organized work environmentQualifications:- Active RN license in the state of New York- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Med Surg setting- BLS certification- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities- Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends as neededWe are looking for a dedicated and passionate RN who is committed to providing high-quality patient care.
