[email protected] St. Mary's Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Outpatient Services Pain Clinic. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge in a fast-paced environment.Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families. Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families, and supervising assigned team members. Promotes patient's independence by establishing patient care goals, teaching patient, friends, and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills, and answering questions. Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards, making or recommending necessary adjustments, and following nursing philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing, state nurse practice act, and other governing agency regulations.
Position Specifics:- Hospital approved for $90M renovation. Preparing for a brand new, state of the art unit!
- Department: Outpatient Services-Pain Clinic. Patient intake, pre-op/intra-op/post-op for procedures, work with Epic EMR, provide discharge education, answer phone calls timely, administer injections/medications/IVs, provide moderate sedation for spinal procedures (training provided), perform Sterile and Aseptic technique when assisting provider with various outpatient pain procedures
- Schedule: Full=Time Days (8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday). No weekends, call, or holidays
- Location: Decatur, IL
- Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
- Compensation that aligns with experience
Education Qualifications:- Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
- Bachelors of science in nursing is preferred.
Experience Qualifications:- Healthcare Nursing experience is preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations:- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required. Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Pay Range:$34.00 - $51.00A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
