Our PCU Oncology leadership team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building for every team member.  PCU Oncology Patient Population: PCU/SDU, Med/Surg Oncology, Chemo, Postop surgery (breast, bladder, lung, colon, and crani), Cardiac drips, Palliative Care (end of life and hospice support) Patient Ratios: 1:4 for PCU and Chemo; 1:5 for Med/Tele Number of Beds: 20 beds Department Specifics: Active Unit Based Council, Pharmacist and Social Worker on the unit during the day to partner with nurses in patient care, Multidisciplinary Team that works together, Chemotherapy training is required within the first 90 days. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses.
