**Job Description:**
Seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as Team Lead at Essentia Health's Park Rapids Clinic in Park Rapids, Minnesota. This RN works 40 hours weekly, 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. No weekend, holiday, or on-call rotations are required. This employee qualifies for full time benefits and there is a $1.50 hourly premium for the lead position. The RN supports multiple providers and a team of nurses, helps coordinate care for patients, and is responsible for working quality lists in addition to rooming patients and working messages.
**Education Qualifications:**
+ BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.

**What You'll Do:**
Is a professional practicing in a multi-faceted domain of specialty nursing that focuses on health care of individuals, families, groups, communities and entire populations. Provides care that occurs in primary and specialty care outpatient facilities, non-acute community out -patient settings; during tele health nursing encounters that occur in medical offices or by individual nurses in the home or business. Have authority, accountability and responsibility for nursing practice; makes decisions; and takes action consistent with the obligation to promote health and to provide optimal care recognizing that health is a universal right. Interacts with patients in concert with other health professionals, skillfully uses the nursing process to assess primary concerns, identify problems, analyze and integrate subjective and objective data, decide on a plan of action, apply the appropriate intervention and evaluate the outcome.
The RN Team Lead will assist with:
- Day-to-day functions within the care team, including assisting with patient flow as needed and assuring lunch coverage for the nursing team.
- Monthly care team meeting agendas and meeting facilitation for the assigned team to include quality metrics review with the Operations Manager and Supervisor oversight.
- Triage and in-basket management assistance for the assigned team, especially when the primary nurse or provider is away.
- Serving as a team resource in the absence of the nursing supervisor.
- Driving quality metrics within the team.
**Licensure/Certification Qualifications:**
+ RN license with the state of Minnesota upon hire.
+ BCLS certification within 3 months of hire.
