Responsibilities:
Clinical Care & Coordination
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to clients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate client care, ensuring that services are delivered effectively and efficiently.
Administer and monitor medications, provide client education on medication usage, and manage medication orders and documentation.
Leadership & Supervision
Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance, training, and delivering performance evaluations.
Ensure adherence to agency policies and regulatory standards, and participate in the development and implementation of nursing protocols and procedures.
Lead quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in clinical care.
Client & Family Education
Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
Act as an advocate for clients, addressing concerns and ensuring their needs are met throughout the care process.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including assessments, care plans, and progress notes.
Ensure compliance with New York State regulations and standards for nursing practice and behavioral health services.
Prepare and submit required reports related to client care, staff performance, and clinical outcomes.
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, social workers, and therapists, to provide integrated care.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Other:
Participate in staff development activities to support professional growth.
Follows agency Compliance Plan and Standards of Conduct
Support and participate in Continuous Quality Improvement activities.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role within a behavioral health or community health setting.
Licensure: Current and valid RN license in New York State.
Certifications: Advanced practice certifications (e.g., Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner) or relevant specialty certifications preferred.
Travel:
