REGISTERED NURSE SUPERVISOR - Citadel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Kingsbridge : Job Details

Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage the nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care- Develop and implement nursing care plans and protocols- Coordinate and supervise patient admissions, transfers, and discharges- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective case management- Provide airway management and respiratory support as needed- Utilize utilization management techniques to optimize resource allocation- Work with individuals with developmental disabilities to provide specialized care and support- Implement pain management strategies to ensure patient comfort- Administer medications, including inhalation therapies, as prescribed- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and standards in a nursing home or assisted living settingRequirements:- Valid nursing license (RN or LPN)- Proven experience in nursing management or leadership role- Strong knowledge of patient care principles and practices- Familiarity with case management processes and techniques- Proficiency in airway management and respiratory support- Experience in utilization management is a plus- Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities- Knowledge of pain management strategies and techniques- Familiarity with inhalation therapies and medication administration- Previous experience in a nursing home or assisted living facility is preferredPlease note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $45.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Tuition reimbursement* Vision insuranceSchedule:* Day shift* Evening shift* Monday to Friday* Rotating weekends* Weekends as neededAbility to Relocate:* Bronx, NY 10463: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person%{{advertiserId}}% %%{{category}}%%
