Currently looking for a Full Time Registered Nurse to join the team at one of the top fertility and in vitro fertilization programs in the state and nation in Branford, CT and Farmington, CT.

Must Haves:*
Current RN licensure. State of Connecticut
Minimum of 1-2 years clinical experience as licensed RN
Ability to multitask and focus on details
Ability to commute easily between Farmington and other satellite/outreach offices - IMPORTANT
Preferred:
Reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) and/or IVF experience
Labor and delivery experience/ambulatory surgery with care of the anesthetized adult patient
Phlebotomy skills
IV start skills
BSN
Job Description:
Responsible for the clinical performance and evaluation of nursing care to patients/families seeking advanced reproductive services including general clinical, ARTS/IVF, and research.
Will perform daily tasks such as patient intake, provide comprehensive patient education and teaching, assist providers with exams and procedures
Utilize an EMR system for documentation
Telephone triage and patient call-backs, prior authorizations, order diagnostic testing
Participates in the research process as appropriate, formulation/coordination/implementation of treatment plan and follow up, etc.
Will be very involved in these patients family planning - should be able to support the patients emotionally
Schedule :
Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30am or 8:00am-5:00pm (dependent on patient/provider schedule).
One weekend every six weeks and one holiday per year - weekend and holiday shifts will take place in Farmington office.
