Duties & Responsibilities:Possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in NYSReview and investigate all employee work related injuries and illnesses and initiate claims with Workers' Compensation insurance carrier if necessaryEnsure that all required documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner to the carrier and/or NYS Workers' Compensation BoardMonitor existing claims and work collaboratively with carrier and healthcare providers to affect the best outcome for each claimReview Loss Run to ensure accuracy of incurred costsFacilitate the safe and timely return to work of injured employees and manage workplace accommodationsAttend Claims Review meetings with broker and carrierAnalyze trends in workplace injuries and collaborate with management and safety teams to implement strategies to reduce frequency and severity of incidentsEnsure compliance with all OSHA Recordkeeping and Reporting requirements as outlined in OSHA Standard 1904Attend WC hearings and provide testimony as necessaryMaintain a comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of Workers' Compensation laws and OSHA regulations Salary$100k +/- (based on experience) Fusco Personnel takes great pride in successfully matching talent and culture for our valued clients.
