Greenwich Woods Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Greenwich, Connecticut is seeking an experienced full time Registered Nurse/ RN with supervisory experience to work the day shift 32 hours weekly (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) and an RN Supervisor to work Friday and Saturday night shifts (11 PM - 7:00 AM).

Greenwich Woods is a 217 long term/short term rehabilitation facility that has been serving the Westchester and Fairfield Counties for more than 34 years. Our facility is conveniently located on the border of Rye Brook NY, with easy access to the Hutchinson River/Merritt Parkways and I684.

Candidate must have strong clinical and supervisory skills, as well as previous long term skilled experience. Attention to detail, a positive attitude, good follow through skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks are required. Working as a team is critical to providing excellent clinical care and candidate must demonstrate a willingness to assist others and work as a team member.

RN Nursing Supervisor Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the administrative, clinical and professional development of facility personnel for the designated shift.
  • Coordinate, direct and oversee all aspects of the delivery of nursing care.
  • Demonstrate competence in leadership and relevant clinical experience.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other health care professionals; comply with orders in a timely manner.
  • Conduct unit rounds, ensuring that clinical practices are delivered within the facility's established standards of care.
  • Maintain standards of care in accordance with regulatory agencies.

RN Supervisor Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse License.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, while managing multiple tasks in a safe and effective manner.
  • Courteous and professional with an exceptional bedside manner
  • High tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce and clientele through sound business decisions, diplomacy and discretion.
