Position: Registered Physical Therapist Assistant [1343]Program: Amarillo, Texas - Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) Salary range: $57,033.60 - $58,822.40 Annually Shift available: Full-time Essential duties and responsibilities:
  • Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language
  • The Registered Physical Therapy Assistant will provide physical therapy for Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) enrolled clients under the supervision of the Licensed Physical Therapist
  • The Physical Therapy Assistant will be required to maintain all paperwork and other duties relevant to physical therapy per Health and Human Services (HHSC) standards
  • Adheres to TPC Business Code of Conduct and reports concerns if ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised
Required qualifications to be successful in the job:
  • Current registration, license or certification as required by law for Physical Therapy in Texas
  • Three (3) years of work experience as a Registered Rehabilitation Therapist
  • Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in the therapeutic specialty may be substituted for two (2) years of the required work experience
  • Must have a valid Texas driver's license and be insurable under agency vehicle policy
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred qualifications to be successful in the job:
  • Ability to speak Spanish
  • Experience in Early Childhood Intervention
