Key Responsibilities: Administer respiratory therapy to patients, including the operation of ventilators, BIPAP V60s, and Vapotherm. Perform assessments and monitor patients on ventilators (LTV, Servo). Ensure proper documentation of respiratory therapy interventions and patient responses. Provide support and education to patients and families regarding respiratory care. Charge duties may be required as part of the role. Work independently, with the ability to manage multiple patients and prioritize tasks. Rotate between day and night shifts as needed. Adhere to facility protocols and patient care standards. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Valid and current Respiratory Therapy license in New York State (NYS). Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required. Proficiency with ventilators (LTV, Servo), BIPAP V60s, and Vapotherm devices. Ability to work independently and handle a variety of clinical situations. Flexibility to rotate between day and night shifts. Ability to adapt to the facility's rotating shift schedule, with potential for charge responsibilities. Additional Information: Facility Cancellation Policy: The facility reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts at no cost during the contract assignment. Shift Flexibility: Varied shifts including rotating days and nights. Guaranteed Hours: 24 hours per week with the potential for up to 36 hours.
