Little Creek Veterinary Hospital in Mandeville, LA is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), or Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care to our furry patients and excellent customer service to their owners. A typical work week for this position consists of 4 weekdays and every other weekend. Our hospital is a full-service small animal facility that offers preventative, medical, and surgical care, as well as boarding services. The RVT/Assistant will play a crucial role in assisting our veterinarians in providing top-notch care to our patients. Additional Responsibilities: Assist in the administration of medications and treatments to patients. Perform laboratory tests and analyze results. Provide support during surgical procedures. Assist in the maintenance of medical records and client communication. The successful candidate must possess strong multitasking abilities and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. They must also be a TEAM player who can collaborate effectively with other staff members to ensure the best possible care for our patients.
