Reimbursement Director (Contract) - Floodgate Medical : Job Details

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Contract Reimbursement Director to develop and execute comprehensive reimbursement strategies for our medical device portfolio. This remote position requires approximately 40 hours per month (flexible scheduling) for an initial 6-month contract beginning April 1st, 2025.Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in medical device reimbursement
• Proven track record of successful engagement with MAC contractors
• Demonstrated success in securing favorable coding and payment for medical devices
• Strong network of payer relationships, particularly in FL, CA, and NJ markets
• Deep understanding of CMS processes and HCPCS coding strategies
• Experience with both Medicare and commercial payer coverage determinations
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilitiesJob Requirements
  • Lead the development and implementation of reimbursement strategies for current markets (FL, CA)
  • Engage with Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) to establish and optimize fee schedules
  • Navigate CMS processes and requirements for coding modifications
  • Build and maintain relationships with medical directors at key commercial payers
  • Analyze and recommend optimal coding strategies for both acute and chronic use cases
  • Develop compelling value propositions for payer coverage decisions
  • Evaluate opportunities within federal legislation and pain management initiatives
