OVERVIEW: The primary function of the Endowment & Foundation (E&F) relationship manager is to serve as a primary investment contact for Endowment & Foundation clients, contributing to real growth of Glenmede's Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) business, and providing a superior client experience to nonprofits. RESPONSIBILITIES: Relationship Management and Client Service. Manage endowment and foundation client relationships. Meet with CFOs, Investment Committees, Trustees and other parties to discuss investment positioning, performance, economic conditions and other topics. Present via in person, hybrid and virtual meetings. Maintain an institutional mindset, with ability to communicate to a room of both highly sophisticated investment professionals and less investment-oriented individuals. Attend client functions as needed to strengthen relationships. Coordinate with associates, advisory and administrative, and other team members to administer accounts, schedule meetings, and provide high client quality service. Work with operations, performance measurement and administration teams to meet client reporting needs. Investment Objectives and Client Asset Allocation. Determine investment objectives and customize Investment Policy Statements (IPS) and spending policies. Implement and monitor client asset allocation and manager selection, customizing as needed to achieve stated goals and objectives, while aligning with each client's IPS. Provide tailored education on equity, fixed income, hedge fund, private equity, real asset, sustainable & impact, program related, and other investments. Coordinate with Glenmede specialists as appropriate. Actively participate in E&F investment committee and OCIO portfolio working group meetings; interact with research teams on a regular basis. New Business. Prepare and attend customized finals presentations and articulate Glenmede's E&F investment approach, alongside the E&F Chief Investment Officer, research, advisory and administrative, business development and other team members. Partner with the business development team on the entirety of the sales process, from RFP responses to finals presentations. Participate in continued development of OCIO Search Consultant and intermediary relationships, articulating Glenmede's investment capabilities, philosophy, and process. Proactively seek new business opportunities through referral requests and network building. Conferences and Events. Present at and attend national E&F-focused conferences. Contribute to thought leadership including whitepapers, webinars, and E&F / Glenmede events. Firm Building. Mentor support staff and colleagues as needed. Perform other duties as required.
