If you are passionate about agile methodologies, project management, and leadership, this is the perfect opportunity for you to make a significant impact in a collaborative and innovative environment.This position is located in our Lafayette, LA or Lebanon,VA or Knoxville, TN office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.Due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship is required.Your future duties and responsibilitiesFacilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning: Organize and lead PI planning sessions, ensuring alignment across multiple agile teams.Coordinate Agile Release Train (ART) Activities: Oversee the execution of ART events, including Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect&Adapt workshops.Manage Risks and Dependencies: Identify, track, and mitigate risks and dependencies across teams to ensure smooth project delivery.Support Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives by facilitating retrospectives and implementing feedback to enhance team performance.Ensure Alignment: Maintain alignment between business objectives and team deliverables, ensuring that all teams are working towards common goals.Provide Leadership and Guidance: Act as a servant leader, providing support and guidance to Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and development teams.Monitor and Report Progress: Track and report on the progress of the ART, ensuring transparency and visibility for all stakeholders.Foster Collaboration: Promote collaboration and communication across teams, fostering a culture of shared responsibility and accountability.Implement Agile Best Practices: Advocate for and implement agile best practices, ensuring adherence to SAFe principles and methodologies.Support Agile Transformation: Assist in the ongoing agile transformation efforts, providing coaching and mentorship to teams and individuals.Develop and maintain professional certifications and create a professional development plan.Engage in knowledge sharing, mentoring, and assist with recruiting and onboarding new members.Act as the Scrum Master of Scrum Masters, motivating teams and removing impediments.Participate in networking events, strengthen CGI Leadership Behaviors, and engage in community and DEI-related activities.Required qualifications to be successful in this roleProven experience as a Release Train Engineer or similar role in an agile environment.Strong understanding of agile methodologies, including Scrum and SAFe.Excellent project management skills, with the ability to develop and maintain project plans.Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.Experience in facilitating PI planning and coordinating multiple agile teams.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to implement process improvements.Ability to manage client expectations and foster strong partnerships.Proficiency in producing high-quality documentation and maintaining project management templates.Bachelors degree and 8 + years of experienceDesired qualifications/non-essential skills required:Professional certifications such as SAFe RTE, PMP, or CSM.Experience in agile transformation and providing feedback to Scrum Masters.Knowledge of new CGI offerings and capabilities.Participation in community and DEI-related activities.Familiarity with IT Security&Acceptable Use Policy and maintaining billable utilization rates.Ability to engage in special projects and demonstrate an agile mindset.CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
