Career Strategy Consultants is seeking a Reliability Engineer for a manufacturing client in the Mingo Junction, OH area. This is a full-time permanent position that will offer a generous base salary, a lucrative benefits package, and also provide substantial growth opportunities.The Reliability Engineer is responsible and accountable for the day-to-day functionality of the Maintenance Department and all facility equipment, including any and all hands-on mechanic tasks, work order management, preventative maintenance program, scheduling and execution of work orders. The Reliability Engineer should be capable for maintenance engineering activities to maximize safety, quality and productivity in the daily maintenance of plant equipment in order to drive continuous improvements to equipment availability and throughput.Responsibilities: Inspect and oversee facilities to resolve problems Perform a variety of maintenance activities as needed Develop and maintain a planning and scheduling routine and preventive maintenance of equipment, prioritizing and estimating work, and technical assistance when developing job plans Responsible for safety design modifications and improvements to equipment and facilities Responsible for safety investigations and corrective actions Perform periodic inspections of recently maintained equipment to observe the quality of the maintenance performed and the operating condition of the equipment Regulate, budget and track maintenance expenditures Develop, document and improve predictive maintenance programs using predictive failure techniques such as vibration analysis and thermos-graphic imaging Assist with the implementation of capital projects Improving maintenance strategy including monthly reporting and KPI validation Analyzing production delay data to evaluate and develop preventative maintenance tasks, and generate continuous improvement projects based off of delay data Evaluate, prepare, review and execute equipment failure via Root Cause Analysis Solicit and coordinate outside contractor work activities Ability to perform other related duties as assignedQualifications: Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering Formal training or experience with Preventative and Predictive Maintenance programs Knowledge of EAF/LMF and/or Caster equipment preferred Familiarity with relevant health and safety standards and regulations Excellent time management and organizational skills Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
