Summary Oakville Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Elementary Teacher for grades P-3 to supplement the Oakville Elementary staff for the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year. This position is to start immediately and last to the end of the school year. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that fosters the academic and social development of young children. This position requires a commitment to promoting a love of learning and ensuring that each student reaches their full potential. Responsibilities - Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards for grades P-3. - Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. - Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents. - Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with special needs. - Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student learning and development. - Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning. - Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events as required. - Collaborate with other educators and support staff to enhance the educational experience for all students. - Uphold school policies and procedures, including those related to behavior management and student safety.
