We are seeking a passionate candidate with expertise in engaging and supporting users to achieve their health goals, who is interested in taking on an impactful role at a young and quickly growing startup in the healthcare industry.Responsibilities
- You will provide remote monitoring services to help support users as they progress through their home-exercise therapy program
- Direct and aid users in therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and functional training through a tech platform
- Provide periodic feedback to the evaluating clinician on user progress
- Maintains necessary records and notes while providing remote monitoring
- Assist with improving processes and functionality of the platform
Requirements
- As a PTA, you are naturally empathetic, friendly, and love what you do.
- 2+ years of experience in musculoskeletal health
- Graduated from an accredited physical therapy assistant program
- Active PTA license in Michigan
- Tech Savvy, including having reliable and fast wi-fi, your own laptop and smart phone
- Experience in behavioral modification, Health Coach Certification is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal, and presentation skills, and an ability to collect and present meaningful data to drive decisions
- Strong relationship-building and listening skills
- Demonstrated user focus; a genuine passion for the user and their experience
- Ability to multi-task and manage various types of users
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- The flexibility and agility to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to influence change and bring enthusiasm and excitement to the workplace
- Independent and proactive work style; quick, flexible thinking; and an open, inquisitive approach
