Remote in Houston, TX - Civil Engineer Our client has twenty-five years of experience in the areas of Underground Utility Engineering, Utility Design Coordination, Roadway Design, Traffic
Signalization, Traffic Control Plans, Intelligent Transportation System (ITS), Tolling Engineering, Traffic Studies, Traffic and Transportation Engineering,and Program Management. Due to growth this company needs to add to their engineering team. The ideal candidate will have 5 - 10 years of experience working in civil engineering and will possess his/her EIT or P.E. license. While the candidate does not have to be strong in tolling, traffic signals or transportation systems, this is the area he/she will be working in. The CEO feels with similar skills and experience in these areas a sharp engineer can add value within a reasonable amount of time. A desire to pursue this engineering work is highly preferred. Working experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation is required. This is a remote role with the need to be client facing and attend client meetings at the offices on an as needed basis. This incumbent needs to be sharp, detailed, reliable and take ownership of their work and always adhere to a high standard of quality. This will begin on a full-time contract-to-hire basis for the 90 days with the intent to convert this person over to a direct hire after 90 days. Individual will be paid straight time for any OT worked and pre-approved. Benefits are offered.
