JOB TITLE:Remote DevOps EngineerJOB LOCATION:RemoteWAGE RANGE :$65HR TO $70HRJOB NUMBER:25-02456JOB DESCRIPTIONWe seek a DevOps Engineer with at least three years of total experience, including two years of system administration, two years of AWS administration, and one year of Python programming experience. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in automation, cloud infrastructure management, and CI/CD processes. This role requires someone who can take direction, collaborate within a team, and independently follow up on assigned tasks.Key Responsibilities:Implement, test, and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS, Jenkins, and Ansible toolsDevelop and maintain automated configurations for servers and services in the AWS environmentMonitor and maintain infrastructure services to ensure reliability and performanceSupport CI/CD pipelines and automation effortsCollaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and system reliability”document processes and configurations to improve operational efficiencyMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)At least 5 years of professional experience in IT, DevOps, or system administration3years of hands-on experience as a Linux or Windows system administrator3years of experience managing AWS cloud services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, etc.)2years of hands-on experience with Python scripting for automationProficiency in Bash scripting and basic shell programmingFamiliarity with Git for version controlBasic knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) and SQLPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Jenkins and writing Jenkins files for CI/CDHands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible for configuration managementFamiliarity with additional AWS services (e.g., API Gateway, ECS, CloudWatch)Basic knowledge of networking concepts and cloud security best practices. Exposure to Java development is a plusSoft Skills:Strong ability to follow directions and work independently while taking initiativeEffective team player with excellent collaboration skills.
