Remote-Electrical Field Service - PrintLink - Print & Packaging Recruiters : Job Details

Global equipment company is seeking an experienced remote Electrical Field Service Technician based in the Mid-Atlantic. This is a travel position for installation, maintenance, and repair of printing press, finishing and accessory equipment. You will travel throughout the United States. Individuals with HVAC, Avionics, Military, Millwright, or Industrial Equipment maintenance experience are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities

• Installation, retrofits, training of maintenance personnel, service, and repair of printing presses and bindery equipment
• Troubleshooting electrical/electronic problems
• Work directly with customers on-site at their printing facilities
• Identify new business opportunities and work closely with the sales team

Qualifications

• Associates technical degree and/or electrical certifications preferred
• At least 3 years' electrical circuitry maintenance experience
• Knowledge of wiring diagrams and schematics, PLCs (programmable logic controllers), AC drives, pneumatics, variable frequency drives/VFD's, and multimeters
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally mostly Monday-Friday (have a valid driver's license and current passport or the ability to obtain one)
• Strong problem solving, testing, repairing, problem-solving, and troubleshooting electrical/electronic industrial equipment
• Experience training maintenance teams
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel 75-100% throughout North America
• Must be currently living in the Mid-Atlantic within 1.5 hours of Richmond Virginia which includes Henrico county and Chesterfield country
• Ability to pass a very thorough background check and drug screening
• Knowledge of printing, binding, finishing, and/or packaging equipment a big plus
