We are seeking a highly skilled Network Consultant to support our network migration project as we transition from Cisco Flex to Aruba wireless infrastructure across 77 locations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company during a key phase of our digital transformation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting, with deep expertise in both Cisco and Aruba wireless solutions. As a Network Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful deployment and optimization of Aruba wireless solutions, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance across all 77 sites. This is a remote position, offering flexibility, and requires strong collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to drive the successful completion of this migration project. Network Consultant Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the network migration project from Cisco Flex to Aruba wireless across 77 locations
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams and third-party vendors to design, configure, and implement Aruba wireless solutions that meet business needs
  • Conduct remote site assessments and audits to ensure compatibility and readiness for migration.
  • Develop and execute migration plans, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
  • Provide remote technical expertise and hands-on support during the deployment, testing, and troubleshooting phases
  • Perform network performance assessments and optimize wireless configurations for maximum efficiency
  • Train and support local IT teams remotely on Aruba wireless systems and best practices for ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Document network architecture, configuration changes, and migration progress
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues across both Cisco and Aruba environments remotely
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, network standards, and best practices

Network Consultant Requirements:

  • Based on the East Coast or Midwest with the ability to work remotely
  • 5+ years of experience in network design, implementation, and administration, with expertise in Cisco and Aruba wireless solutions
  • Proven experience managing large-scale network migration projects (Cisco to Aruba preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, wireless standards, and network troubleshooting techniques
  • Expertise in Aruba ClearPass, AirWave, and other Aruba management platforms is highly desirable
  • Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCNA, etc.) and Aruba certifications (ACMP, ACDX) preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience working in fast-paced, complex, and high-demand environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
