If so, keep reading!Title of Job: Remote Nurse Reviewer Location: REMOTE (anywhere in the US) CSI Companies is hiring a Remote Nurse Reviewer for our Fortune 100 healthcare client in Minnetonka, MN. This job can be worked from anywhere in the US as long as you have high speed internet and a distraction-free home office area. Job Summary The Remote Nurse Reviewer is primarily responsible for supporting the development and coding of benefit plans. This position involves collaborating with a team of nurses, certified coders, and business analysts to ensure accurate coding and compliance with benefit plan language. Pay : $32.25 - 47.25 an hour based on experience (overtime will be paid at 1.5 times the normal hourly pay rate). Hours: Full Time - Monday-Friday 9am-5pm CST Why this Opportunity?

Status: Long Term Consultant. Long term consultant, no end date, with good job stability. There is always potential for conversion to FTE status with the client for the right employee upon business needs. Almost all of the positions within this client start off as a consultant due to being a Fortune 100 company. Effective Date / Tentative Start Date: Interviewing Immediately Job Duties:
  • Review benefit plan language to determine appropriate codes
  • Evaluate peer coding decisions and provide input to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Facilitate discussions with team members to finalize coding documentation
  • Analyze audit results and make necessary adjustments to maintain coding accuracy
  • Actively participate in project meetings, providing insights and feedback on coding processes
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant license
  • Registered Nurse with 5+ years of experience in healthcare
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in medical coding, including coding methodologies and processes
  • A reliable high-speed internet connection (the faster the better!)
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test
  • Private, quiet, and distraction-free workspace in a room with a closed-door
Highly Preferred
  • Large corporation experience
  • Health plan / managed care / healthcare industry experience
  • 3+ years Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
