Job Title: Sr. HVAC & Building Services Engineer

Job Description

We are partnering with a large, well-known architecture, engineering, and construction management firms across the United States to assist them with hiring. They are growing their southeastern Pennsylvania team and are hiring for multiple skillsets. We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join this team as a Sr HVAC & Building Services Engineer. The selected candidate will be working on fast-paced, technically complex design/build projects in the industrial, chemical, biotech, pharmaceutical, and food industries.

Responsibilities:

Prepare, design, select, coordinate, and review of the following:

+ HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems

+ Concepts and basis of design documents

+ Building heating and cooling loads

+ Air flow and room-to-room pressurization diagrams

+ Hydronic flow diagrams and riser diagrams

+ LEED documentation

+ Static pressure and pump head calculations

+ Chillers, boilers, heat exchangers and associated central plant equipment.

+ Air handlers, exhaust fans, air valves and diffusers

+ Specifications, sequence of operation, and controls points lists.

+ Water, sewer, and gas usage calculations

+ Domestic hot water boilers, air compressors, vacuum pumps, clean steam generators, valves and regulators, plumbing fixtures, and process coolers

+ Shop drawing reviews and requests for information

Qualifications:

+ Bachelors in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering

+ 8+ Years of Experience in an HVAC Engineering Capacity

+ Experience in industrial, biotech, pharmaceutical and food facilities is beneficial.

+ AutoCAD and Revit proficiency

+ Experience in design-build delivery methodology

Job Type

This is a direct placement career opportunity.

Salary Range

This position will pay between $125,000-$175,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Work Site

This is a fully remote position with the option of working in their Southeastern Pennsylvania office.
