CSI Companies is hiring a Remote Sr. Patient Financial Specialist for our healthcare client, ranked one of the best employers in Texas.Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p CST Location: Remote in San Antonio, TX Pay: $20/hour Position Type: Temp to Perm Job Summary: The Sr. Patient Financial Specialist ensures account resolution and reconciliation of outstanding balances for patient accounts. In addition, you will provide support for business office functions, providing work coverage for the various operational work units in the revenue cycle. This includes billing, collections, reimbursement validation, cash posting, mail handling, scanning, sorting, assembly, copying, faxing, and data entry functions. This position may also provides training to Associates on revenue cycle processes as required by the Manager to support new and existing Associates. Job Responsibilities: Ensures PFS departmental quality and productivity standards are met. Collects and provides patient and payor information to facilitate account resolution. Responds to all types of account inquiries through written, verbal, or electronic correspondence. Maintains payor-specific knowledge of insurance and self-pay billing and follow-up guidelines and regulations for third-party payers. Maintains working knowledge of all functions within the Revenue Cycle. Responsible for professional and effective written and verbal communication with both internal and external customers in order to resolve outstanding questions for account resolution. Meets or exceeds customer expectations and requirements, and gains customer trust Qualifications Verifiable High School Diploma or equivalent Must have minimum of 1 year experience working with patient accounts PC skills in a Windows environment are required. Solid knowledge and utilization of desktop applications to include Word and Excel are essential.
