Remote Senior Proposal ManagerCategoryContracts AdministrationJob LocationREMOTE, USTracking CodeGO 4837Position TypeFull-Time/RegularCALIBRE Systems, Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is looking for an Senior Proposal Manager to joinour team remotely.Duties include:* Manages RFIs / SSNs, task orders, IDIQ proposals, and other stand-alone proposals typically less than $20M in value* Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the proposal process* Leads proposal process throughout proposal development life cycle, including kick off meetings, color reviews, and other required milestones* Ensures adherence to proposal development preparation guidelines, processes, methodologies, and associated business tools* Analyzes requirements and ensures that proposals meet requirements* Maintains records and files of work and revisions* Manages the production, reproduction, and binding / packaging of draft proposals, final proposals, and all hard / soft copies* Responds to or oversees responses to data call requests from teaming partners* Edits, standardizes, proofreads, or makes changes to material prepared by other writers or establishment personnel* Edits proposal materials to eliminate inconsistencies in format or voice, typos, and grammatical and spelling mistakes* Builds proposal outlines and compliance matrices and oversees creation of proposal templates* Performs compliance checks for peer-led proposals* Develops effective methods for presenting and organizing information within proposals, such as the use of tables and graphics* Coordinates proposal layout and outlines with SMEs and technical writers* Organizes material and completes writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology* Organizes complex material, designs and develops proposals, white papers, presentations, and other document* Works closely with the Contracts Department to ensure proposals are delivered on time and in compliance with all RFP requirements* Leads proposal process improvement and knowledge management. Researches, writes, and updates information in the business development repository, including project descriptions, resumes, and other qualifications materials. Edits and rewrites proposals, including creating templates and boilerplate text.* Mentors, supervises, and coaches assigned proposal resourcesCore Competencies* Leads large complex proposals* Leads both labor focused contract proposals as well as IDIQ focused proposals* Leads oral presentation preparations* Prepares price proposal volumes* Demonstrates advanced writing and editing skills* Edits, revises, proofreads, updates and finalizes proposals* Creates and edits documents using Microsoft Office Suite* Manages proposal process and leads proposal teamRequired SkillsPreferred Skills:* SharePoint experience or equivalent preferred* Shipley and APMP training preferredRequired ExperiencePreferred Education and Experience:* Advanced Degree or 10 - 15 years' equivalent work experience* Appropriate Certification: Shipley and/or APMP* Experience leading at least 5 successful proposals of between $1M - $20M* Extensive experience leading multiple smaller proposals* Extensive experience as a proposal coordinator or proposal manager* Extensive experience working with subcontractors and as a subcontractor on multiple proposalsEssential Functions:* Ability to work both individually and in a collaborative team environment* Ability to multitask and meet competing deadlines* Ability to think critically* Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing* Ability to speak, understand and write in the English language* Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time* Supports team and performs other related duties as assigned* May require ability to obtain government issued security clearance* Work generally performed in an office settingCALIBRE and its subsidiaries are an Equal Opportunity Employer and supports transitioning service members, veterans and individuals with disabilities.
