Are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity with a growing company? We are looking for a Renovation Maintenance Technician to join our team at our 3300 Tamarac Apartments in Denver, CO! Essential Responsibilities:
- Renovates vacant apartments for occupancy to property scope.
- Assist Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor to complete supply orders needed for renovation.
- Maintains or replaces appliances, plumbing fixtures, and electrical fixtures.
- Ability to install cabinet fronts, cabinet pulls, baseboards and tile backsplash.
- Works with contractors as necessary including scheduling for multiple apartments.
- Provides preventative and corrective maintenance throughout the renovation process.
- Assist maintenance team as necessary by Inspecting apartments, buildings, and/or grounds/pools as necessary.
- Assist maintenance team as necessary with repair or replacement of HVAC units as needed.
- Ensures that circuit breakers, smoke detectors, thermostats, outlets, and lights are working order before turning the renovated apartment over to CM and MS.
- Completes drywall & paint as needed.
- Repairs or replaces window blinds, screens and glass.
- Performs cosmetic repairs in apartments.
- Assist with organizing maintenance shop including on-hand stock to complete renovations.
- Basic hand tools may be required for designated properties.
- Maintains properly any company issued property.
Knowledge, Experience, Educational Requirements:
- Working knowledge of and experience in all of the trades - plumbing, electrical, painting, tiling, locksmith, and carpentry.
- Prefer HVAC certification on all properties.
- Must have valid driver's license and proof of required insurance.
Additional Skills, Abilities, and Characteristics Required:
- Good people skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Some travel required with overnight stays.
Compensation and Benefits
- $27-$30/hour DOE
