Purpose and Job SummaryLument Real Estate Capital, a leading national multifamily lender and capital solutions provider, is seeking an REO associate to join its REO team in Dallas, TX. The associate will report directly to the Senior Director and assist with the asset management of a portfolio of REO assets. Additionally, the associate will play a pivotal role in the underwriting and business plan formulation of additional multifamily investment opportunities.Essential Duties & Responsibilities* The associate will work closely with the REO asset management team and play a key role in evaluating opportunities through the underwriting process in addition to supporting asset management strategies for existing positions* Provide asset management support through performing financial analyses, assisting in development and execution of business plans, and continued monitoring of macro and micro market performance and trends* Support in building financial models to project cash flows and exit valuation to measure return profile of new opportunities* Forecast operating performance, financial projections and business plan scenarios for deal-specific underwriting* Assist in the preparation of asset-level recommendations for internal senior management* Produce asset and portfolio-level reporting on monthly and quarterly basis* Communicate directly with third-party property managers to guide strategic initiatives* Work professionally and harmoniously with team and coworkers* Travel Requirements - 25 %* Other projects and duties as assignedContactsThis position has frequent contact with all levels of employees and management.
