This role reviews and evaluates the onsite findings documented by the survey team in the CARF eChecklist to determine accuracy and consistency with regards to application of standards and CARF's Documenting Survey Findings guidelines. The position communicates with the survey team and/or staff when necessary to determine the appropriateness of ratings, recommendations, consultations and other documented comments to determine and support the recommended accreditation decision. The position updates the eChecklist as needed to reflect the appropriately documented survey findings as reported by the survey team during the accreditation survey and ensure clear and complete content that will result in a professional Accreditation Report.Application Deadline: February 17, 2025ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe following duties and responsibilities represent the essential functions of this job that an individual must be able to perform with or without a reasonable accommodation:
- Read, create, update and delete comments, ratings and other entries in the master eChecklist submitted by the survey team, as appropriate, to ensure that: each rating reflects any associated comments; each comment reflects each ratable element to which it relates; each comment and other modifiable text is written in accordance with applicable CARF guidelines; the recommended accreditation decision reflects the findings in accordance with applicable CARF guidelines; and the eChecklist contains all of the information necessary for CARF to issue an appropriate accreditation decision and a meaningful Accreditation Report that provides value to the organization, accurately reflects the survey findings, and supports the accreditation decision.
- Communicate with the survey team, staff and/or eChecklist content reviewer when necessary to determine the appropriateness of any finding (rating or comment), the recommended accreditation decision or to otherwise obtain necessary information.
- Assign the eChecklist to the CPR for further review (following complete evaluation) in the event the accreditation decision recommended by the survey team is other than Three-Year/Five-Year or Preliminary Accreditation.
- Possess mastery of and appropriately use Pivotal CRM (AIMS) as it relates to applicable duties and responsibilities.
- Possess mastery of and appropriately use the CARF eChecklist as it relates to applicable duties and responsibilities.
- Participate in the process of providing feedback to surveyors regarding their use of the eChecklist and documenting survey findings as appropriate and escalate to the Senior Report Quality Specialist as needed
- Participate as requested in surveyor training and continuing education and the development of associated materials.
- Participate as requested on internal committees or task force groups for business re-engineering plans or for revision or development of written policies, procedures, and standards.
- Screen, assign and track eChecklist to associate content editors; provide support to them as needed; check in when submitted; review and forward to internal staff as needed (SRQS or CPR or mark ready for editing).
- Update and maintain report quality guidelines and resources materials

WORK LOCATIONBased in Tucson, AZ, this position is not eligible for relocation assistance or full-time remote work. However, this position may be eligible to work remotely up to 2 days per week.QualificationsThe following qualifications represent the training, education, certifications, licensures, and/or work experience required to perform the essential duties and responsibilities successfully:
- A Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communication, or related field and two (2) years' experience relevant to accreditation or health and human services; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (orally and in writing) and make decisions within an established contextual framework.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint (e.g., designing presentations incorporating graphics and imported data) and Outlook (e.g., arranging meetings, recurring reminders, and task management). Functional mastery of Pivotal CRM (AIMS) and CARF eChecklist.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States. Does not now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status, including but not limited to H-1B visa status.
