Summary

As the Research Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for the processing and maintenance of all records and files regarding stock purchases and sales. You will also work with the Associate Director of Research Policies and Support and the Research Administrative Coordinator with various projects as requested. After completing the core administrative tasks, you will have the opportunity to work with Research Analysts on equity research projects.

You will report to the Associate Director of Research Policies & Support.

Responsibilities

  • Review/approval of portfolio models
  • Work-In-Progress list maintenance (stock recommendations currently being worked on)
  • OFAC/Compliance checks of new stocks
  • Daily and Weekly Performance Reports
  • Buy recommendation/Portfolio Manager meeting note taking
  • Distribution of research activity summaries for client communications
  • Maintenance of Portfolio Managers stock scores
  • Processing Research staff expense reports via Concur system
  • Compilation of weekly reports and data for Portfolio Managers

Project work to include:

  • Analyzing and combining information from various sources into relevant investment ideas
  • Building financial models to support investment ideas
  • Creating and presenting investment recommendations to sector group and to a team of portfolio managers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Finance/Economics or related field
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word software programs

Compensation: Expected hourly rate between $24-$27 per hour
