Research Analyst - CORE Staffing : Job Details

Our client, a financial services firm, is seeking a temporary (February-June 2025) Municipal Credit Research Analyst to work with the Municipal Bond team on municipal fixed income (state and government) investments.

The candidate will be responsible for performing in-depth fundamental research to develop sector and issuer-specific credit views and recommendations. The Analyst will work closely with the Municipal Bond portfolio management, trading, credit research, and economics research teams, as well as other investment analysts, portfolio managers, and traders across the firm.

Qualifications:

• Strong academic credentials: Bachelor's degree required, with post-graduate degree or professional qualification preferred
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in research (high yield experience a plus)
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to navigate complex data systems (Creditscope database experience preferred)
