Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Research Project Assistant for the enter for Population Behavioral Health within the Rutgers Institute for Health, Health Care Policy and Aging Research (IFH). The primary role of the position is participant recruitment and screening, obtaining consent, coordinating study schedules, conducting data collection, and related administrative tasks related to data collection.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
* Provides research management of assigned duties and ensure that program proceeds as planned.
* Communicates and collaborates with the study team to maintain involvement in all facets of the research project.
* Supports ongoing research projects involving community outreach, participant recruitment, and data collection among Chinese immigrants in community settings.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Public Health, Psychology, or other related social sciences fields or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant research experience, and knowledge of general principles and practices within a discipline and ability to use that knowledge for practical application is required.
Certifications/Licenses Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Proficiency in English and Chinese is required.
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively liaise with participants, team members, and community partners.
* Must be willing to travel for participant recruitment and data collection.
* Excellent computer literacy.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with community organizations for participant recruitment is preferred.
* Able to speak Cantonese is preferred.
Equipment Utilized Physical Demands and Work Environment
* May require travel to research participant's homes or other meeting location to conduct research activities.
Special Conditions
* Flexible schedule (including weekends) is preferred.
