This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through cutting-edge molecular profiling and pharmacology studies.

About the Role:

As a Research Scientist, you'll lead the design, execution, and interpretation of molecular profiling studies to evaluate mechanisms of action, pharmacology, and efficacy of novel cancer therapies. Your contributions will include developing and implementing profiling analyses and conducting pharmacology studies within a collaborative and dynamic lab environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Molecular Profiling: Design and execute next-generation sequencing studies to explore mechanisms of action and therapy efficacy.
  • Pharmacology Studies: Implement in-house profiling and routine pharmacology/oncology assays.
  • Data Analysis: Apply statistical and computational tools (Excel, JMP, R) for data analysis and interpretation.
  • Bioinformatics: Utilize programming skills (Python, PERL) to analyze omics datasets and interpret complex sequencing results.
  • Project Leadership: Conduct both in-house and outsourced studies, ensuring scientific rigor and reproducibility.
  • Communication: Present findings internally and externally; support the development of conference abstracts and manuscripts.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain robust data documentation, operational protocols, and troubleshooting procedures.

What You'll Bring:

  • Education: Ph.D. in molecular biology or a related field, or a master's degree with significant and relevant experience.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of bench research in oncology or a related field.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in oncology/pharmacology assays, bioinformatics, and statistical testing.
  • Analytical Skills: Adept with tools like Excel, JMP, R, and programming environments.
