Research Support Specialist - Stony Brook University : Job Details

Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Experience in operating equipment, carrying out test procedures, and using special methods for data collation and interpretation. Previous experience in human subjects research. Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in a field relevant to human subjects research. Experience with data collection and management. Experience with preparation of regulatory materials (e.g., IRB, grant progress reports). Experience with budget management and reconciliation. Experience involving direct interaction with psychiatric or neurologic patient populations. Experience working in a hospital or medical center setting. Brief Description of Duties: The Research Support Specialist (RSS) will support PET, MRI, and other (e.g., TMS, EEG, etc.) brain imaging studies of patients with psychiatric disorders and healthy individuals.
