Position Summary: We are seeking a full-time Research Technician to join our Commercial Services Team. This position requires a goal oriented and self-motivated individual that can efficiently manage multiple tasks with high quality, while maintaining the integrity of reagents and data. This position will support a growing scientific commercial team, so attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects at once is essential. Good communication and teamwork skills are important as this position will interact with all departments in the company. Overall, this position will assist with performing small and short-term basic experiments and completing individual parts of an overall large experiment/project with project leads.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare culture media, chemicals, reagents, and solutions

• Perform basic cell culture, including plating and maintenance, and associated bioassays

• Perform basic molecular biology assays, including assays for gene and protein expression

• Maintain detailed experimental documentation

• Place orders in inventory system, receive supplies and keep inventory for project-specific reagents

• Assist with assembling and packaging commercial product shipments

• Collect and analyze data in Microsoft Excel and GraphPad Prism

• Update company databases

• Maintain equipment and associated records

• Follow established SOPs and technical protocols; and contribute to protocol modification and generation • Attend and contribute to team meetings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in biology or related field

• Hands-on experience with sterile tissue culture techniques and adherent cell culture beyond academic coursework are required.

• Preference for experience in a production cell culture/GxP/QC environment

• Familiarity with basic molecular and protein biology techniques is preferred

• Ability to follow detailed protocols, take direction, and independently complete tasks

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel

• Experience with GraphPad Prism preferred

• Work some weekends/holidays (1-4 times per year) on a rotating/as needed basis
