Reservation Concierge - JCC Association : Job Details

Principal Responsibilities: JCC Rockland is looking for an outgoing enthusiastic concierge to join our team. This position will be responsible for monitoring member reservations while creating a welcoming and friendly environment. They will have the responsibility of monitoring and ensuring reservations are being made while being responsive to members' needs. The concierge will provide assistance with the app, educate members where needed, and check them in for classes and court reservations. Position hours : 5:45 am to 12 pm Monday-Friday DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Open the JCC at 6 am; arrive at 5:45amGreet members in with a warm welcome and a fond farewellCheck members into the fitness center and classes/court timesBe outgoing and willing to approach members and inquire if they made reservationsEnforce reservations policy and assist members in learning our procedures ? Communicate with reception deskBe familiar with group fitness classesManage schedulingMaintain work areas in a clean and orderly manner at all times.Consistently offer the highest level of personalized member service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic and helpful attitude. LEAF-(Listen, empathize, apologize, fix)Assist members/guests as needed with app, JCC programs, etc.Assist management or any authored personnel requesting assistance with any task related to the JCCResponsibilities may be changed as the needs of the JCC change. Excellent human relations, customer service, and communication skills 2. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Docs 3. Customer service and hospitality experience 4.
