Reservationist - We All Gotta Eat Group : Job Details

We All Gotta Eat! restauraunt group, includes Michelin Star recognized omakase restaurants Sushi Noz and Noz Market on the UES and Noz 17 in Chelsea, as well as, just opened Chez Fifi, a French Bistro and cocktail lounge, seeks a reservationist to join our team. We are looking to fill the role as soon as possible to support our busy department.Reservationist Responsibilities

• Handle reservation books for 3 high-end restaurants, as a part of a team of 3 employees focused on building customer relationships and ensuring a positive experience for current and potential guests.
• Communicate and correspond with guests of all restaurants, curating a bespoke experience for each person that reaches out via email or phone.
• Ensure that all guest correspondence is up to the group's standards and that all policies and practices are enforced.
• Communicate with each restaurant's General Manager/Floor Manager regarding cancellations, VIP guests, special occasions, problem solving, and daily service reports.
• Adhere to all guest relations practices in the group's current and forthcoming restaurants
• Refer requests outside the scope of their work to the relevant departments.

Skills

• Maintain a positive and professional attitude across all guest interactions, setting the example for employees on their team
• Skilled at maintaining composure in stressful situations and coming up with creative solutions when necessary
• Strong desire to learn all about all aspects of our restaurants in order to confidently answer answer guest questions and communicate our policies effectively
• Excellent written and verbal skills, as well as a desire to build strong relationships with clientele
• Strong attention to detail and works diligently to avoid mistakes
• Ability to work collaboratively, able to support operations and the reservationist team while maintaining their own accountability
• Minimum 1-2 years of previous restaurant experience. Knowledge of reservations platforms (Open Table, Resy, Toast, Google Workplace, etc.), fine dining preferred.
