Job Overview This role supports all initiatives related to revenue management and distribution channels to maximize profitability of our hotels. We strategize our way to acquire business by optimising pricing, availability and forecasting demand patterns. Those who have an analytical mind and an eye for detail will enjoy this role. Key Responsibilities Welcome to the core of what being a Reservations Coordinator is all about! Here's the quick lowdown on what you'll do day-to-day:
  • Answers phone calls in professional, courteous, and efficient manner using appropriate greeting and professional language
  • Review of our reservation in-box, process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations and respond to all inquiries professionally and efficiently
  • Manage and/or create group blocks or master accounts with accuracy, manage telephone, fax and e-mail inquiries in a prompt and professional manner ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times & process group deposits as needed
  • Reviews House occupancy and adhere to stop sell and critical dates. Balance room types and inventory as required by the DOCS/Reservations Manager
  • Manage OTA reservations i.e enter reservations that have not interfaced, respond to guest inquiries, flag VIPs as needed

  • Must be organized with the ability to handle multitasking
  • Possess high level of verbal and written communications kills
  • Work hour flexibility including, late afternoon, weekends and bank holidays
