The ideal candidate must be well-spoken, self-motivated, sales-minded, customer-focused and detail-oriented with a high degree of computer literacy. This individual must have a willingness to learn new processes, and the ability to merge into a dynamic work environment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Support the reservations, pre-arrival, group rooms coordinator and pbx associates.
  • Support management and leadership, provide excellent customer service and telephone etiquette, and actively aspire to reach defined goals and objectives.
  • Accountable for a seamless reservations process while providing exceptional levels of customer service.
  • Communicate and develop associates to ensure all standards are met on a consistent basis.
  • Provide consistent quality assurance evaluations and feedback for associates.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2 years' experience in a luxury hotel required
  • Strong knowledge of reservations processes preferred
  • Enjoy interacting with people in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Preferred experience with Opera Cloud & Revinate
  • Must possess a positive attitude
  • Exceptional guest recovery skills
  • Must be willing to participate in a learning environment
  • Must be dependable and available to work within the resort on weekends, nights and/or holidays
  • Must integrate company values throughout all interactions
  • Must be able to quickly adapt to effectively using new software products
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • College degree preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. Must have finger dexterity to be able to operate office equipment.
