Working closely with the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities and the Office of Mental Health, we support 27 housing locations and 3 administrative buildings. About the Role We are looking for a proactive employee to provide needed ongoing supervision and support for persons who receive services in the community residence program.Responsibilities include:

• Assessing, teaching, and evaluation of various skills of daily living that will enhance the independence and community integration of persons who receive program services
• Fostering an atmosphere in which skill teaching and role modeling occurs
• Responding to crisis situations using good judgement in accordance with agency guidelines and programmatic considerations
• Maintaining physical property of residential program in a manner that enhances the health and safety of persons who receive program services

Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma/GED, required. Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills, required.Conditions of EmploymentMust possess a valid driver's license and transportation. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. May be subjected to outdoor conditions including extremely cold, hot, and wet weather.
