Residence Manager
Full Time, Wage $22.00-23.25/hr

The Residence Manager is responsible for overall function and oversight of assigned program(s). The Residence Manager's specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* The schedule is typically Monday- Friday 8am to 4pm however is subject to change based on the program/workload/emergency needs and may include day, evening, overnight, weekend and holiday hours. Will also serve on 24-hour Residence Manager on-call rotation.
* Ensure that staff support both the health and safety measures and personal outcome desires of individuals while fostering and promoting skills for independent living through choice and self-determination.
* Conduct and/or participate in assessments, meetings, Life Plan meetings, or case conferences with individuals supported and/or members of an individual's Program Planning Team or other service providers; develop and implement ISP and SAP plans; and maintain IPOP's.
* Conduct clinical and administrative reviews of Habilitation Plans, monthly notes, and Medicaid billing to ensure that the plans meet agency and regulatory requirements.
* Complete required documentation and perform documentation reviews in conformance with rules, regulations, policies and procedures and billing practices.
* Comply with all regulations, policies, and procedures as dictated by OPWDD, State, Federal, the agency, and any other regulatory body.
* Responsible for the schedule, timecard sign offs, and PTO requests.
* Directly supervise Assistant Residence Managers and DSP Residential Aides in the performance of their job duties; ensure trainings are completed; complete regular staff meetings and staff evaluations; maintain communication and documentation with staff regarding work performance and behavior.
* Interview applicants and makes recommendations for hire.
* Identify and report an untoward incidents and completion of related documentation and investigations.
* Identify, report, and/or correct all safety hazards including physical plant problems and/or problem work practices and assist with investigating all work-related accidents as requested.
* Responsible for training DSPs to explore quality of life outcomes for people receiving services, surrounding issues involving choice, health, safety, social capital, relationships, rights, goals, dreams, employment and implementing best practices to support individuals to accomplish outcomes.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Possess good analytical, interpersonal, written, oral and communication abilities and effective time management/organizational skills.
* Able to work scheduled hours that may include overtime, weekend and/or holiday timeframes and maintain acceptable work attendance a defined in the agency's personnel policy manual and handbook.
* Be computer literate with knowledge in agency operating systems and applicable software required for departmental needs.
* Able to generate and present comprehensive written reports and respond to questions about the report
* Demonstrate sound judgment in normal work and emergency situations
* Must physically be able to perform required certifications and lift fifty (50) pounds

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
* High school diploma / GED and experience that in the opinion of the reviewing agency, exceeds the following standard: Bachelor's Degree with three (3) years of experience working with the OPWDD population preferred.
* Possess a valid driver's license acceptable to the agency's insurance carrier
