General Description: The Residency & Security Clerk provides administrative support for the Residency and Security Coordinator in the following areas: Personnel, Registration and Residency, Budgeting and Record Maintenance and Safety and Security. Salary: Clerk III Starting at $27.44 per hour Full Time 7 hours/day, Full Year Start Date: January 2, 2025 Evaluation: The Residency & Security Clerk reports to and is evaluated by the Residency and Security Coordinator. Supervision Responsibilities: NoneDuties and Responsibilities: Personnel - Assist with scheduling interviews for hires and onboarding of new personnel
- Assist with in-service training programs for monitors and other personnel as needed
- Assist with scheduling annual evaluations of monitors
- Assist with general Central Office Reception
- Collaborates with all schools to provide districtwide support
Registration & Residency - Coordinate Central Registrar process
- Utilize PowerSchool (district's student information system)
- Work directly with the Student Information Coordinator and school secretaries
- Central registrar for new student registration (mortgage/utility bill collection/school designation)
- Assist secretaries with student placement
- Positive and proactive communication with schools and families
Budgeting and Records - Follow procedures for purchasing and track spending against allotted budget
- Maintain records related to residency and security in compliance with policies
- Assist with building security and safety reports
- Comply with legal reporting requirements from state and local agencies
Security and Safety - Maintain accurate drill logs in coordination with admin assistants
- Handle all aspects of Fleet Management
- Oversees maintenance and inventory of security equipment (radios, etc)
- Create and maintain badges for personnel
- Agendas for safety meetings
- Support Coordinator of Safety & Security with phone calls, emails, meetings
- Coordinate annual mandatory meetings/trainings
- Coordination and preparation of department budget with input from district and external partners
- Review TimeClock hours of security monitors
