Resident Care Assistant - 10 Wilmington Place : Job Details

Looking for 1st shift Part-Time and Full -Time (6am-230pm) 10 Wilmington Place, a truly unique, family-owned senior living community, is looking for caring, compassionate, and DEPENDABLE individuals to join our team as a Resident Assistant. As a Resident Assistant, you'll be able to make a real difference in the lives of our residents each and every day. You do not have to be a STNA/CNA to join our team, but we do require caregiving experience and a kind heart. Resident Assistants are responsible for ensuring that our residents have a great quality-of-life and excellent care. We believe in the quality of your life, too. • Be at least 18 years old
• Be able to pass a criminal background check (in accordance with State regulations)
• Have reliable transportation
• Be dependable, punctual, energetic, respectful and a team-player
• Be able to stand, walk, push, pull, stoop, lift and bend over (most of each shift worked)
• Be able to attend a paid 8-hour orientation program during business hours
• Be smoke-free during work hours (we are a smoke-free campus)

Job duties include:

• Assist residents with their activities of daily living
• Escort residents to meals and activities
• Engage in activities with residents, as needed
• Respond to emergency situations quickly and calmly
• Observe and report changes in the resident and their living conditions to the Director of Nursing
• Follow rules and directives given by supervisors
• Maintain confidentiality and be compliant with all HIPAA regulations
