Resident Engineer - Blue Chip Talent : Job Details

We are looking for a Resident Software Engineer to write software requirements, design, and develop software to meet Component Technical Specifications. This role includes providing on-site software expertise and supporting debugging and quick software fixes at customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Write software requirements for CTS and BSP specifications
• Design and code software for assigned areas
• Assist GM engineers with root cause analysis of software anomalies
• Provide rapid software fixes (“patches”) on-site at customer locations
• Conduct software design reviews for new functions
• Support assembly plant build events and ride trips

Qualifications

• Education: B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering with EE minor
• Experience: 3+ years in a supplier software development environment, including writing functional requirements
• Strong C and Python programming skills
• Experience with debugging tools: Lauterbach with Trace32, Vector CAN tools (CANalyzer/CANoe), and NeoVI with VSpy
• Proficiency with electronic instrumentation (Oscilloscope, Saleae Logic Analyzer)
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
