Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • Experience in activity planning and coordination with seniors preferred
  • Experience and interest in working with seniors
  • Must be creative, organized and innovative
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills
  • Mature, pleasant, friendly, and cheerful personality

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities & Personal Characteristics

  • Must be effective in understanding all technology used in programming and train new staff in its use
  • Engage one to one with residents as needed for more personalized experiences
  • Oral and Written Comprehension and Expression - Must be able to convey and understand information and ideas in English
  • Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
  • Must be able to independently and effectively ensure the execution of all resident programs
  • Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations
  • Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
  • Must have the ability to assimilate complex information, data, etc. from multiple sources and consider, adjust, or modify to meet the constraints of the particular situation
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by residents and guests
  • Physically able to move at least 50 lbs. without assistance
  • Exerting up to 60 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly, to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
  • Physically able to bend, reach and work in small areas without difficulty
  • Ability to bend, stretch, stoop and reach repeatedly without difficulty
  • Physically able to push and pull, equipment and furnishings
  • Physically able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stand for long hours and walk long distances without fatigue
  • Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels
  • Utilize technology as a means of communication necessary to support resident needs and ensure operational compliance as well as resident safety and security
