Minimum Qualification
- Bachelors Degree Required
- Experience in activity planning and coordination with seniors preferred
- Experience and interest in working with seniors
- Must be creative, organized and innovative
- Excellent communication and engagement skills
- Mature, pleasant, friendly, and cheerful personality
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities & Personal Characteristics
- Must be effective in understanding all technology used in programming and train new staff in its use
- Engage one to one with residents as needed for more personalized experiences
- Oral and Written Comprehension and Expression - Must be able to convey and understand information and ideas in English
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
- Must be able to independently and effectively ensure the execution of all resident programs
- Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Must have the ability to assimilate complex information, data, etc. from multiple sources and consider, adjust, or modify to meet the constraints of the particular situation
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by residents and guests
- Physically able to move at least 50 lbs. without assistance
- Exerting up to 60 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly, to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Physically able to bend, reach and work in small areas without difficulty
- Ability to bend, stretch, stoop and reach repeatedly without difficulty
- Physically able to push and pull, equipment and furnishings
- Physically able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to stand for long hours and walk long distances without fatigue
- Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels
- Utilize technology as a means of communication necessary to support resident needs and ensure operational compliance as well as resident safety and security
