Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest. We have 13 offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

* Measures distances to verify accuracy of dimensions of installations and layouts

* Verifies levels, alignment, and elevation of installations

* Observes work in progress to determine if procedures and materials comply with plans and specifications

* Conducts field checks of materials and equipment

* Records quantities of materials received or used during specified periods

* Reviews drawings and specifications for constructability

* Reviews project materials, documents, submittals, and schedules

* Advises project engineer of deficiencies in materials or workmanship and assists in developing solutions

* Documents construction progress with photographs and written daily logs

* Verifies construction quantities and prepares pay requests

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in construction engineering/technology preferred but not mandatory with at least 5 years' construction related experience required

* Works hours outside of normal business hours as required for specific projects including weekends and occasional nighttime work

* Proficient in the use of computers and other relevant hardware and software tools

* Valid Driver's License required
